1. How do I create a personal profile so I can register for classes?

On the KAC Registration front page Click “Member Login” on the upper right hand side. Click “New Visitor Registration” in the description under the heading Login (it will be highlighted in blue). Enter your email address and click “Go.” Fill out the profile page and click “Create Account.” *In order to receive membership rates your new account will need to be linked to your county. Call the KAC office to complete this final step of creating a personal profile.

2. How do I enroll in a certificate program?

If you want to enroll in a certificate program, you will need to contact the KAC office and we will enroll you in the program. If you already were working on a program, you are already enrolled and your classes have been tracked in the new system.

3. If I took classes in the past under the Leadership Academy for County Commissioners, do they still apply to the re-designed program?

Yes. We took care to transfer all previous records to the new system so that you have credit for completing both your electives and what are now considered core classes in the leadership program, Foundations in County Government.

4. Are courses open to anyone?

KAC Institute of Excellence courses are open to all county, township and city employees.

5. How can I get a class held in my county?

Simple - just ask! If you offer to host a course in your county, we will make every effort to bring it there.

If the Education calendar has been set for the year and you would like to bring a class to you let us know. If you can guarantee 20 attendees at the course, we will bring it to your county on your schedule!

6. How do I find out when new courses are offered?

Be the first "in-the-know" by signing up for our email blasts on our "Email Blasts" page. We also recommend checking the calendar regularly for updated information.
