Request to Present Form
KAC ANNUAL CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION REQUEST TO PRESENT
Created by statute K.S.A. 19-2690 in 1975, the Kansas Association of Counties (KAC) works toward advancing the interests of Kansas county governments and the citizens they serve. The Kansas Association of Counties is a quasi-public agency that provides legislative representation, technical assistance, leadership and professional education, and identifies resources to address the challenges faced by county government. The Association's mission is grounded in state law and shaped by the leadership of its fifteen member Governing Board.
The Annual Conference is dedicated to the professional development of county officials, supervisors and employees from all over the state’s 105 counties. During more than 35 years, the conference has played a key role in helping counties get information on current issues, learn about the latest in technology and services available and provide a forum for discussion and idea sharing among these officials. The annual conference takes place every 12 months, averages 500-600 participants and includes concurrent sessions, key note speakers and commercial exhibits.
DEADLINES & CRITERIA
The deadline to submit a request to present is June 5 every year. Applications must be made online. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered for the current planning year. Preference will be given to companies that exhibit at and/or sponsor the KAC Annual Conference & Exhibition.
