Education Programs Overview

Photo of a KAC trainingThe Kansas Association of Counties Institute of Excellence signature educational offering is the Foundations in County Government leadership program. A certificate based leadership program that is available for all Kansas County employees, elected as well as appointed, at all levels within any county department.

In partnership with Kansas LTAP, KAC offers various classes as part of the Kansas Road Scholars Program. 


Tuition Reimbursement

Is your county a member of the Kansas County Association Multiline Pool (KCAMP)? If so, you may be eligible for partial tuition reimbursement for classes offered by KAC's Foundation in County Government  and Kansas Roads Scholar Programs (a program of KCHA and APWA-KS). Contact Yana Ross at KCAMP at 1-800-240-9828 for details, or go to www.kcamp.org.


KAC Class Cancellation Policy

To be eligible for a partial refund, all cancellations/requests for refund must be made in writing (mail or email) to the Topeka KAC office at least three (3) working days prior to the class/workshop. Upon receipt of written notice, a refund will be processed and mailed to registrant in an amount of the workshop fee less a $25 registration processing fee.
